The deep burgundy glossy flush of growth is quite attractive overtop of the lower green foliage. It is said that the name 'Murasaki no sato' translates as Purple Village. This newer selection of Japanese anise was brought over from Gifu, Japan, by our good friend, Ted Stephens. Murasaki no sato has a more conical habit reaching 6 8 ft in
