Johanneshof Reinisch Ried Holzsprur Pinot Noir 2018 CS20231023 concocting one of the Distillery’sAustria's leading red wine producer brings finesse to their Pinot Noir from the mid slope Ried Holzsprur vineyard, planted in limestone rich alluvial soils. Aged in French barrique with less than 20% new wood, this wine shows fine cherry character with dark berry, pleasant spice, and pronounced minerality. At seven years, the wine is drinking beautifully with an elegant texture and silky, lingering finish that speaks to cool climate elegance.
